NOUVELLE OPTION: Version française
My friends, my loved ones,
I am writing to you with a glass of sparkling wine in hand as I am celebrating the end of a phase, an experience and the beginning of a new adventure! As of tomorrow, I will be without an official address and you will only be able to communicate with me by cell or by e-mail. However, this transition period will only last three weeks and two days and not six weeks as planned, for the date of the move to the new apartment has been advanced to June 15th! Finally, everything is falling into place as I reserved an Airbnb until June 16th at 11 a.m. knowing that a modification was possible and, furthermore I will be able to go to Notre-Dame-du-Portage at the usual time!
It is Monday, May 21st, 12 p.m., the truck arrives tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. and as usual, I’m ready!
So I can spend the afternoon taking in the sun, drink sparkling wine and relaxing before the hustle and bustle of the three movers taking charge of everything tomorrow.
I can’t wait for these changes, for living in a new neighborhood, in a beautiful new apartment that reflects me more with its woodwork and old-fashioned style. I can’t wait to discover new restaurants, new boutiques and new neighbors. I am also looking forward to building a new home which will be a hundred times more welcoming than the one I am leaving behind.
