NOUVELLE OPTION: Version française
My friends, my loved ones,
I have decided, from now on, to start checking items from my bucket list. One of my dreams to fulfill is to assist at the Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix in Italy. The motives for which this event is at the top of my list are my passion for Formula 1 racing, my love of Italy, my great interest for the language, my curiosity for this beautiful country’s culture and my appetite for Italian cuisine. For all these reasons, I am going back home to Italy tomorrow evening, more specifically to Monza, and attend this weekend’s Gran Premio d’Italia to then stay in Milan for two weeks, a city I have never had the pleasure of discovering.

I promise to publish many blogs during my trip, to share as many pictures as possible, to learn new Milanese recipes and to work on my novel, which the first twelve chapters are under substance and form revision by Barbara, Dieter’s eldest, writing instructor at the University of Toronto and author of the very good novel “The Darkhouse.”
Next rendez-vous: Italy!
