Whale at Starboard!

NOUVELLE OPTION: Version française

My friends, my loved ones,

This morning, I had the honour of paying a visit to the whales! It was a magnificent cruise where I had the pleasure of meeting people from Ottawa and England in the VIP lounge. Yes, I am not ashamed to say it, I am a fancy chickadee and I bought a VIP ticket! But what great encounters, nice conversations, a personal meeting with the naturalist guide and an incredible chance to admire grey seals, belugas, minke whales and a fin whale, the second-biggest animal on the planet, measuring 21 to 25 meters and weighing 40 to 50 tons! What an extraordinary day and beautiful memories for the long winter months!

To the next adventure!

My friends, my loved ones,

Last Friday, I had the privilege of kayaking with two experts at Sainte-Luce-sur-Mer! Thank you Nathalie and Claude for a splendid day and my first experience kayaking without any hiccups! Also thank you to Mousse for two nights of cuddling and warmth! Only two little problems arose: the ex coast guard that I am had forgotten which was port side and starboard, which frustrated my chauffeur and former co-worker, and then the difficulty of squeezing my boobies in the wetsuit! Besides that, everything went smoothly, we even saw seals up-close!

My friends, my loved ones,

Another school year has come to an end and I can finally catch my breath and take time to give you some news.

This year has been difficult but it finished on a high note:

First of all, the Canadian Grand Prix ended with a controversy: 5-second penalty for Vettel, which made him lose the race and led Hamilton to victory. The tifosi were up in arms against… everything! Nevertheless, the weather was sublime and it was, of course, a memorable weekend!

Then the next weekend, I had the great pleasure of seeing the “Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” exhibition at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts with Véronique. We were speechless from beginning to end. What beauty, what extravagance, what creativity!

Finally, after endless corrections, the magnificent graduation ball of my dear sweeties to whom I taught mathematics in grades 8 and 9 and the goodbyes to all my colleagues because, for health reasons, I decided with great sadness not to return next year, I have finally arrived to the peacefulness and coolness of Notre-Dame-du-Portage to catch up on long-restorative sleep.
