NOUVELLE OPTION: Version française
My friends, my loved ones,
My predictions for 2021 have been fulfilled except a few that will obviously be added to my new list for 2022:
- I had planned to eat a good meal at the Geppetto restaurant bar at the end of the year, but that did not happen because I found a beautiful house at Saint-Lazare. So, a move, big painting contracts, a change in lifestyle and Omicron prevented it! I will return in 2022, promise.
- My spending at the liquor store (SAQ) has not decreased this fall because I was too happy in my new house and was constantly celebrating! I will only attend an AA meeting if they add points to my SAQ Inspire card! 😂
- I have not yet lost the 10 kilos accumulated during the two years of confinement but that will soon change because I have canceled my membership at the SAQ and have resumed my horse-riding jumping lessons twice a week. Furthermore, I do not want my horse to suffer as he can only tolerate 20% of his weight on his back! 😳

Now, for 2022, I would add this:
- After two years of absence at the Canada Grand Prix, I will finally reunite with my gang at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit! I have already received my confirmation, planned my route from Saint-Lazare to the circuit and this year, there will be a lot of champagne to celebrate our get-together!
- I will complete the renovations and painting of the basement and the guest room. However, I am happy to announce that I have finally finished my office!

- I will have lunch in Montreal with my friends more often because I now appreciate more my outings in the city. A little visit at my hairdresser followed by a good lunch at a restaurant and a little shopping at my favorite boutiques!
Before the variant Omicron took over, I invited friends over for a good Italian dinner.
I finished 2021 with an excellent meal and I send you my best wishes for 2022 and many virtual kisses!

P. S. : I woke up this morning with a slight sore throat… I hope it is only a reaction to the large amount of sparkling wine I drank last night… I will let you know if the situation changes… don’t worry, I am now in quarantine until further notice.
